We stand behind the quality of our Property Insights Reports. If you're not completely satisfied with your report for any reason, we'll provide a full refund within 7 days of purchase—no questions asked.

At Property Information Reports, customer satisfaction is our priority. We offer two types of products, each with clear refund policies:
- Property Insights Report (One-Time Purchase): Digital PDF report delivered via email after purchase
- Subscription Plans: Monthly, quarterly, or annual plans for businesses, real estate agents, and professionals with multiple report credits
Property Insights Report Refunds (One-Time Purchase)
Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund of your Property Insights Report if:
- You request a refund within 7 days of your purchase date
- The report contains incomplete or incorrect data due to a system error on our end
- The report failed to generate or was not delivered to your email address
- You accidentally purchased the wrong property address
- You experienced technical issues preventing access to your report
- You are not satisfied with the report quality or content for any reason
How to Request a Refund
Requesting a refund is simple and hassle-free:

- Include: Your order/transaction ID or the email address used for purchase
- Reason (optional): Briefly explain your reason for the refund—this helps us improve, but it's not required
- We'll process your refund within 1-2 business days

Refund Processing Time
Once we approve your refund request:
- Refunds are processed within 1-2 business days from our end
- The refund will be credited to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, etc.)
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been processed
- Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
Digital Product Notice
Property Insights Reports are digital products delivered electronically via email as PDF files. Once delivered, the report cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. However, we honor our 7-day money-back guarantee regardless of whether you have downloaded or viewed the report.
Subscription Plan Refunds
Our subscription plans (monthly, quarterly, annual) are designed for businesses, real estate agents, and professionals who need multiple Property Insights Reports.
Subscription Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- You will retain access to your subscription benefits and remaining report credits until the end of the paid period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
Subscription Refund Policy
- First 7 days: Full refund available if you cancel within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase and have not used more than 1 report credit
- After 7 days: No refunds for partial months, quarters, or years of unused subscription time
- Unused report credits: Report credits do not carry a cash value and cannot be refunded
- Auto-renewal charges: If you forget to cancel and are charged for a renewal, contact us within 48 hours for a possible refund (case-by-case basis)
Subscription Best Practices
To avoid unwanted charges:
- Review your subscription plan and auto-renewal settings in your account dashboard
- Set a reminder before your renewal date if you plan to cancel
- Cancel before the end of your billing period to avoid the next charge
- Contact support if you need help managing your subscription
Refund Exclusions
Refunds may not be granted in the following circumstances:
- Refund requests made more than 7 days after the purchase date (for one-time reports)
- The report was delivered successfully and you simply changed your mind after the 7-day period
- You purchased the wrong property address due to user error (please verify the address before purchasing)
- Subscription renewals after the 7-day initial period (you can cancel to avoid future charges)
- Evidence of report abuse, excessive refund requests, or violation of our Terms of Service
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting our support team
Note: If your refund request is denied, we will provide a clear explanation and work with you to find a fair resolution whenever possible.

Refund Processing
- All refunds are processed to the original payment method used for purchase
- We cannot issue refunds to different cards or accounts

- You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
Processing Time Note: While we process refunds immediately on our end, your bank or card issuer may take additional time to credit your account. Please contact your bank if you don't see the refund after 10 business days.
Data Accuracy & Report Quality
Our Property Insights Reports are compiled from official New Zealand data sources including Stats NZ, LINZ, NZ Police, and local councils. While we strive for accuracy:
- Data is sourced from reputable third-party providers and is accurate as of their last update
- We do not guarantee real-time data accuracy for external data sources beyond our control
- Reports are for informational purposes and should not be the sole basis for property decisions
- Buyers should conduct their own due diligence and verify information independently
If you identify a factual error in your report that stems from our system (not the source data), we will either correct the report at no charge or issue a full refund.
