Census Demographics

Population, age distribution, income levels, education attainment, ethnicity breakdown, household composition, dwelling types, home ownership rates, and landlord sector data sourced from Stats NZ 2023 Census.

Important: Data represents Statistical Area 2 (SA2) aggregated statistics and may not reflect property-specific characteristics. SA2 boundaries are geographic areas used for statistical purposes and can encompass diverse neighborhoods. Individual properties within the same SA2 may have significantly different characteristics than the area averages shown.

Transport mode share, work-from-home rates, and workplace destination data sourced from Stats NZ 2023 Census - Main means of travel to work by Statistical Area. Historical comparisons use 2018 Census data where available. Commuting patterns may change over time due to infrastructure improvements, employment shifts, or changes in work practices (e.g., remote work trends).

Sourced from Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) (CC BY 4.0) (https://data.linz.govt.nz). Property boundaries, parcel information, and territorial authority data also sourced from LINZ. Title information may change due to subdivisions, boundary adjustments, or legal transactions. Buyers should verify all property details with a qualified lawyer or conveyancer.
